About Mary Magdalene (pronounced MAG-duh-leen): Although the Gospels never specifically call Mary Magdalene a prostitute or a sinner, she has been called one by misogynists. Mary Magdalene nonetheless overlooks these false judgements, is unconditionally forgiving, and has a beautifully sweet energy. Her significant role with Jesus, as described in the Gospels, includes her washing his feet, witnessing his death, and being one of the first people to whom he appeared after his resurrection.
